Towneley Hall with an Austin A40, Burnley Express Van parked in front of it. These vans were built between 1947 and 1956.

The Hall was home to the Towneley family for over 500 years. However, when the male line of the family died out it was sold to Burnley Corporation in 1902 and a year later it opened as a museum.
