General notes

Burnley Victoria Hospital was opened on 13th October 1886. The central building was used for administration and the the two circular buildings were the main wards. The fields in front of the hospital were converted to gardens in 1897.

In the 1980's the hospital began to close down and the departments moved elsewhere.
