A group of children gather to have their photograph taken outside of Fred Pollard's stationary shop, on the corner of Abel Street and Holbeck Street. Fred only ran the shop here for a small number of years and it is not known where he came from or where he moved to. The building itself lasted until the later part of the 20th century, before being demolished.
