A mill worker's skit of Lancashire poverty in the 1920's. The caption reads 'It's nice to have a home of your own and sit by your own fireside.' One of the people in the picture is holding their feet over a bottle of gin with a flame coming out of the top. This was done to highlight the poor living conditions of mill workers at the time.
