Emanual Collinge's (2nd right) Hot Pea Saloon was located on Burnley Cattle Market. He started the business c1902 after previously working as an engineer. Redevelopment of the Cattle Market area began in 1916 and it is around this time that the business ceased trading. Emanual died in 1934 in relative poverty, as alluded to by his address 'Caravan - Rossendale Road.'
