Sam Hanna's boys during WWII. The model aircraft they are sat in was built by pupils at Abel Street school, where Sam Hanna worked.

Sam's biggest passion, and the one that he is most famous for, was his film making. For over 60 years Sam filmed local events and the lives of working people in East Lancashire.
