This is one of a series of images which were loaned to us in May 2012 by Mrs Jean Walker of Preston. They were taken by her late husband Bill during the 1952 Guild. Jean and Bill were both from Preston Jean working for a time in shoe shop in Penwortham and Bill in a garage.

This float appears to show Gulliver in Lilliput. The underwear and babywear shop Bowes is in the background.
