This image is from a daguerrotype by Henri Claudet and was used in a project to mark the Bi-centenary of Charles Dickens birth in 2012. It's taken from "Charles Dickens by pen and pencil" by Frederick George Kitton (1890) a copy of which is held at the Harris Library in Preston.The photograph was engraved by Messrs Annan and Swan.
