User feedback: 'Arndale House was opened in 1961 and comprised a number of shops, the largest being Marks & Spencer and Woolworthâ€™s (the latter relocated from Blackburn Road). The site was originally occupied by Spring Mill, but for a few years, after the Second World War, there was a beautiful Sunken Garden there.' 27/05/2024.
