General notes

"The Baptist Movement at Ansdell grew rapidly from a bethel opened on 11 November 1903 to a mission church 12 months later. Architects Haywood and Harrison of Accrington designed the present Gothic Church and the foundation stones were laid on 11 January 1908. This church.....(constructed) by Smith Bros. Of Burnley and Blackpool, was opened on 17 October 1908."
