Photographic print of original postcard. Lytham Mill was built in 1805, and was a working mill until 1919, when most of the machinery was destroyed by fire. It is now houses exhibitions of pictures and memorabilia of life in Lytham over the last century. Lytham's first Lifeboat House was built in 1852, was demolished in 1863, and replaced by the present building. It was discontinued as a working Lifeboat House in 1931.
