This is one of a series of aerial photographs taken by Mr Frank Lord of Lytham St Annes when he went up in a light aircraft in April 2010.

The Island leisure/entertainment complex which included a cinema is in the centre of the picture. It was closed in 2009 and there were subsequently several reports of prospective buyers but nothing definite up to August 2010.
