The former Technical School, now the College Court apartments, ".....was designed by the County Architect Henry Littler (also responsible for Lytham Police Station and Magistrates Court). The builder was Thomas Cottam of Preston.....Its foundation stone was laid in 1906, the date in the later stonework is 1907. The college was opened on 30 September by Sir Henry Hibbert, Chairman of Lancashire Education Committee."
