Edward and Isabella Pearson were natives of Oswaldtwistle, but emigrated to the USA. Edward died in 1907 and Isabella in 1911. She had expressed a strong wish to be buried in Oswaldtwistle, so her son and daughter had her body brought back to England, along with that of her husband.
