User comment: 'Foreground - Market Street, Church. At junction with Foxhill Bank Brow (opening on right) it becomes Union Road, Oswaldtwistle. Ornate building on the corner was the District Bank. Latterly used as bedsits but currently in a sorry state and boarded up.

The photographer would have been standing with his back to Church and Oswaldtwistle Railway Station.' 02/04/2024.
