General notes
The Crescent railway bridge was built around 1885, between Park Road & St.Andrew's Road. The Crescent Gardens were laid out as a memorial to Queen Victoria's Jubilee in 1897. The postcard is addressed to Mrs. Leatham, Tarleton, near Preston. The message reads: "Dear Friend, Thanks very much for you P.C.'s. Excuse delay as I have been very busy. Will write more later, when time allows. With best love, Bessie"
