The location is now occupied by the Toll House Inn (formerly the Farmers Arms) Lancaster's Historic Inns by Andrew White says that the Corporation Arms "..stood on the west side of what was then Penny street, but now King Street, just north of the White Cross. It was a simple two storey, early eighteenth century building, with an elaborate carved stone version of the arms of Lancaster above its door, now in the City Museum..." It was demolished in 1901 during alterations to improve the southern approach to the city. The book lists innkeepers as: Henry Row 1844 Richard Bradley 1851 Hannah Row 1855 Henry Row was innkeeper at the White Cross in 1851, seen to the left of the Corporation Arms. To the right is Waterhouse General Dealer
