Taken from Market Street, looking towards Railway Street.
The shop later became part of the Cooperative Movement. It was demolished in 1965 when the Arndale Centre was build along this area.
The Union Bank and Clarks Saddlers are on the left.

'The trams I remember as a young child of 3-4 years in the 1970s going from Nelson train station to Colne train station and the now leisure Center and Duke bar as the doctors surgery was located there when we moved from Colne to Nelson before the health Center centralisation.'
