General notes
Built between 1838 and 1839. Last service in 1975 and sold in 1981 on the condition that it could not be demolished.
It was converted in 1982 into a restaurant by local business lady, Pauline Mavis Dickinson. Who had lived in the village farm avenue for many years from 1930. Chris Church was converted and name changed.
It became a medieval-themed restaurant named "The Knights Castle" between 1983 -1986 then sold to become the Sharju Indian Restaurant.
The font in the church and plaques on the wall were donated by Mavis, in 1983, to another local church.
