Turner Brothers (Preston) Limited, shoe shop at 28 Church Street. Joseph Livesey lived there c1825-1860. The Total Abstinence Pledge was signed in a room behind the shops by the famous seven men of Preston. His private printing press was in the top storey and the Preston Guardian was first printed in this house in 1844 and for 18 months afterwards. Note the plaque on the wall.
