In 1913 the Royal Lancashire Show was held between the 31st of July and the 4th of August on the Prairie playing fields, Burnley.

This photograph shows that Secretary's cottage and, beyond, the entrance pavilion and the Secretary's office. All of these were temporary structures and were taken down after the show.
