This photograph of Chancery Street shows (right to left) P.L. Nicholl's shop, the London City and Midland Bank, Moore's Tailor's shop and Caldecott's Drapers. At the end of street is the entrance to the market hall. The whole area was demolished in the mid-1960's to make way for a new shopping precinct, and Chancery Walk became Chancery Row.
