Steam tram in front of the Town Hall. The property to the left of the tram ('Piccadilly') was later demolished to make way for new shops including Burton's. The shops on the left include Ebenezer Coupe & Sons, pianoforte dealers; the Argenta Meat Co Ltd; and Ruth Brown's Central Restaurant.
