General notes
The first part of this colour film is a dramatised history of the handloom weavers of Wycoller, and their reaction to the new power looms of the Industrial Revolution. In part two, we visit Glen Mills in Colne, at a time when Lancashire was still "humming with activity and industry", to see the technology of the day, and appreciate the modern day co-operation between management and employees. The film is available to watch for free at https://player.bfi.org.uk/free/film/watch-lancashire-pride-1950-online
