General notes
Tuck's Postcard Series 5528 captioned Accrington, The Museum, Oak Hill Park. On the reverse is printed "This is a pretty little Museum in a pretty little recreation ground belonging to the town of Accrington, known as Oak Hill Park. Here some fine trees and a belt of greensward invite adults to rest and children to romp, and the public spirit of a townsman has provided a graceful statue facing a silver birch-tree that might be the spirit of the tree herself."
