Message on postcard reads as follows: "Dear F, Thanks for letter. No I am not going to S.A. J.E sails this next week. Sorry your Father is no better. This nice weather ought to do him good. You must get out if possible if only for half an hours walk. Hope you keep well. Love from your sincere and loving friend." Initials at end of message are unclear.
