General notes
"Grey Walls" and the garden were constructed by landscape designer Thomas Mawson in around 1925.
George Perry Abraham (1844-1923) moved from London to Keswick, where he established a very successful photographic business and was a councillor for fifteen years. As this house was built around 1925 it's likely that this image was taken by one of his sons George Dixon Abraham and Ashley Perry Abraham who worked in the family business.
See the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography articles on George Dixon Abraham (10/03/2015) and Ashley Perry Abraham (1876-1951).
