This image was loaned by Mrs Pat Walton of the Lea Women's Institute in Preston in April 2012. It shows Mrs Walton as Pat Durant, aged 16 on the bottom right of the picture during the 1952 Preston Guild celebrations. She's with fellow Nursery Nurse students from Alston Hall who were assembling in Miller Park prior to joining the Schools' Pageant on Avenham Park.
