This image was loaned by Mrs Pat Walton of the Lea Women's Institute in Preston in April 2012. It shows the Mothers' Union from St Michael's and All Angels Church, Ashton, Preston in the Church of England procession during the 1952 Preston Guild celebrations. Mrs Walton is on the far left in the background just in front of the drummer. She was Pat Durant aged 16 in 1952.
