Looking north. J. Winn Butcher, shop on left ,belonged to Joseph Winn (1818-1883), who is believed to have traded there from 1824 until the site was demolished to make way for the Harris Library. The two men standing in front of the shop may be his sons, John and Robert Winn. Information supplied by a descendant.
