People gather outside in prepartion for an evening's entertainment at the Locarno Ballroom. Also known as the Mecca Ballrooms, the Locarno was located on the corner of Centenary Way and Yorkshire Street. It changed hands and names a number of times before becoming a Bingo hall in around 2000.
