William Edmund ffarington and his wife Marguerite Phyllis ffarington , in front of Worden Hall, Leyland.
As a boy, from the Isle of Wight side of the family, William inherited the Hall, following the death of the last of the ffaringtons of Worden, Susan Maria ffarington, in 1894. When he was of age he married Marguerite (nee Blake) in 1908. They had one daughter, Edmunda Eileen Elizabeth ffarington. William died in 1909 aged 23. His wife died in 1910, and the daughter died aged 5 in 1915.
