On the right of the picture is the 1st bus from Haslinggden to Rawtenstall which set off at 12.20pm driven by Cllr R Bowker, vice -chairman of the Haslingden Tramways and Electricity Committee. The Grand Buildings in in the background on the left hand side of the photograph.
