This photograph is taken the ridge of land between Cross Lane and Ogden Clough stream. The row of buildings in the foreground are Barley Green, which appear on the 1st edition of the Ordnance Survey 6" maps from the 1840's. Beyond the barn is a row of modern houses called the Bullion. These appear on a 1994 Ordnance Survey map.
