Built 1862, closed 1954 and later demolished. An original building was erected in 1831 on Chadwick's Orchard and replaced by this building in 1862. The Market Hall now stands on the site. Note motor car outside T. Rigby's Temperance Bar and Dining Rooms and advertisements for Player's cigarettes and Preston Royal Hippodrome theatre (very faint).
