This image was loaned by Mrs Myra Lane of the Lea Women's Institute in Preston in April 2012. It shows the float for the Sunday School at St Christopher's Church, Lea in the Churches Procession during the 1972 Preston Guild celebrations. Mrs Lane is facing the camera and is between the two girls on the left of picture. The procession featured the ten commandments. You can see the word 'adultery' on the pole in the middle of the picture!
