The bottling works were located in the Wapping area of Burnley, which is generally considered to have been located around St. Jame's Street, Hall Street, Water Street and Cannon Street. It is hard to work out exactly where in this area the building pictured was, but its address in an 1870's trade directory is given as St. James's Street. Most of the area was demolished during slum clearances and during the Charter Walk development. Future Alderman, Sam Taylor is the small boy second from the left.
