Photograph taken from "Lancashire Life" May 1965 shows shops at the bottom of Bank Street Rawtenstall looking towards Tup Bridge. The buildings further up from the Midland Bank (now HSBC) on the right of the photograph were demolished to build the shopping precinct and new Astoria buildings. These were later demolished in March 2012.
