Photograph shows Phipps Building in Bank Street, Rawtenstall. It was the former Co-operative Society Building and Assembly Rooms and was opened 27th November 1869 and designed by Maxwell and Tuke. The photograph shows the building being demolished in 1987. Phipps Car park replaced the building.
