The original image was loaned to us by Mrs Margaret Peacock of Lostock Hall in March 2012. It was taken during the 1952 Guild and came from her aunt, Mary Martin.

We think this is the section of the procession for St Mary's church. The words "Suffer little children to come unto me" are spelt out by the flowers carried by the children.
