The original Kings Arms Hotel which was built in 1625. Where Charles Dickens and Wilkie Collins stayed in 1857. Dickens again in 1861
The old King's Arms Hotel was demolished c1880. Fenton-Cawthorne House, to the right, was demolished in 1921.
