Photograph shows a view of Burnley Road looking towards Tup Bridge and Rawtenstall Town Centre. The building on the right was the fire station and is now used by Youth Services. The road was known as King Street on the OS map produced in the 1890s. The row of houses and shops were all demolished when the road was widened as part of the town centre improvement scheme in the 1960s.
