A view of Cairo Mill and the old Whittlefield area before redevelopment, taken from Boat Horse Lane. Boat Horse Lane is located above Gannow Tunnel. This was the route that horses pulling barges along the canal had to use as there is no tow-path in the tunnel, hence the name.
