Barrowford Park was dedicated as a memorial to those who fell in the First World War. John Dixon and Sam Holden gave the land and the people of Barrowford raised the dunds for the landscaping. Barrowford Council took possession on the 25th March 1924. The play eqiupment shown in the photo has been updated.
