General notes

The view on the aerial photograph looks down to Talbot Square, formerly known as Belle Vue Square, now the corner of Talbot Road and Clifton Street, Blackpool. The building to the left with the rotunda roof eventually became Yates's Wine Lodge. It was part of a complex of arcades and assembly rooms, one of which became the Theatre Royal and later the Tivoli Cinema. The site was recently demolished following an arson attack on February 15, 2009.
