General notes
This area is adjacent to Carnforth Railway Station. The road is Warton Road running from Market Street Carnforth into Millhead and further villages.
The Gun and Tackles shop seen in the picture - on the corner, is the empty premises of what was Entwistle Green Estate Agents of today.
The chimney is a part of Carnforth Iron Works that closed in 1929. Having found further photography of the area; taken of Baltic Tank Locomotive Trains (1110) built in 1920/21, I noticed the chimney in the background.
I concluded that this photograph is from the period between 1921 and 1929.
