General notes

Built in 1864 to connect Singleton & Hambleton as a Toll Bridge for Pedestrian/Automotive Traffic to replace the Stannah & Wardley's Creek Ferry.
This bridge was then replaced a few yards downstream by a municipal (none toll) bridge carrying the A588 in 1993.
