General notes
Sited opposite the Windmill, Carr Hill House was the home of William Langton in 1780. In the 1330s, the Hotel was purchaed by Edward G Sargeant who, with the purchase, evidentally acquired the manorial rights. The Gazette and Herald, Fylde News and Advertiser 7th May 1938. (P11).
reports his intention to exercises those rights by holding a five day fair at his land.
The building was demolished in 1963, after decline as Carr Hill Hotel.
