General notes
Photographs shows the Wesleyan Chapel in Higham taken in October 1981 by local historian C. H. Byrne. The chapel was built in 1874 at a cost of £1,640 and according to the Barretts Trade Directory for 1902, it superceeded an old building built in 1841. As can be seen in this photograph, the chapel was closed in 1980 and it was later demolished in 1983.
