This is a usual street in that there have never been any buildings fronting onto it. It is in fact no more than a back street.
On the left is the rear entrance to the old Public Library. (Main entrance was on Booth Street.)
On the right is the back yard of Barclays Bank (Formerly Martins Bank) and yards belonging to shops on Manchester Road.
